Responsibilities include:
Function as a global lead for distributor due diligence and monitoring including independent management of, and clearance of, distributor approval requests entered into the company’s distributor approval process for indirect and direct markets in Asia/Pacific. Conduct auditing and monitoring of high-risk distributors in Asia/Pacific. In this role, the Manager Compliance , Asia Pacific will be the primary reviewer of approval requests.
Function as a global lead for interactions with HCPs ensuring the business remains compliant and has clear knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures. This includes auditing HCP engagements and meals with HCPs confirming compliance with policies and procedures.
Review and approve indirect and direct sponsorship requests for Asia/Pacific confirming that the requests are in compliance with company policies and procedures and laws and regulations.
Provide support for other compliance program activities at the direction of the Senior Compliance Manager, EMEA and LAPAC. Handle requests from the business team concerning their interactions with HCPs and HCOs, in our indirect markets but also in China, Japan and Korea. Provide compliance trainings to the sales and marketing teams and third party distributors and sales agents.
Develop an understanding of and familiarity with the company’s business, people, products, technology, markets, facilities, customers and competitors in order to assist the company in meeting overall strategic objectives;
Develop and conduct training for new and existing employees in Asia/Pacific, including China, Japan and Korea with a focus on due diligence processes and procedures, marketing events, transparency reporting, interactions with HCPs, and other compliance areas.
Stay up to date on the regulations in each market and provide periodic risk assessments to the Senior Compliance Manager, EMEA and LAPAC, which will drive our compliance focus and activities.
Manage and update the compliance policies and procedures for these markets ensuring they align with the rules and regulations.
Have a strong understanding of the regulations in the Asia markets including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Thailand, etc.
Handle a high volume of work and respond promptly to requests, efficiently and practically;
Ensure all work is accomplished with quality, proactiveness, and responsiveness and in accordance with Integra LifeSciences values;
Be a valued business partner within the compliance department and to other internal clients;
Handle special projects as may be assigned within the compliance department from time to time;
