How You'll Make a Difference
You will be tasked with strengthening the presence and impact of chapters and volunteers while overseeing the comprehensive event marketing strategy. Empowering advocate ambassadors and local chapters to engage effectively with their specific communities and regions, as well as planning and executing events, both virtual and in-person, to celebrate community contributions and encourage active participation. Ensuring brand consistency and meeting event objectives and KPIs are paramount in this position.
What You'll Bring to the Role
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related area, with a strong focus on community, chapter, or volunteer communications.At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven experience in developing and implementing innovative communication strategies.Exceptional communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.Analytical mindset, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative analytics.Ability to craft and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with the community and drive engagement.Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams to drive successful marketing and communication initiatives.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders and representing organizational messages effectively across different communication channels.Demonstrated success in planning, promoting, and executing events.Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects, collaborating effectively with diverse teams and individuals.Strong understanding of content management and distribution strategies.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling coordination for multiple events simultaneously.
