Swine Animal Care Worker

　　This position is part-time with paid time off.

　　You will be assisting your coworkers with various swine duties that include;

　　Weighing animals and feedTreating pigsProcessing littersCleaning consists of hosing, power washing and disinfecting.The position is 95% indoors with climate-controlled building ranging from 60-84 degrees depending on the size of pigs. At the unit we utilize both bags and bulk feeds. Employees must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Bulk feeding is fed using a cart that weigh around 1000 pounds. I would compare this to pushing half a pallet of feed with a pallet jack on level concreted surfaces. The chosen candidate will need to be able to work well with his or her coworkers.

　　High school diploma or GEDAble to lift 50 lbs repeatedlyValid driver's license requiredPart-time Schedule:Shift schedule 7-3:30 Monday - Friday and every 3rd weekend.

　　2 holidays per year.

　　Pay:

　　$17.00 per hour
