Staff is responsible for working with clinical and ancillary subject matter experts (SMEs) as well as Business Intelligence Analysts to design and build analytics that support data-driven decision-making. The BI Managers understand user requirements and translate them into actionable reports and analytics. They will coordinate multiple complex projects within their teams and escalate issues as appropriate to the department Director. Business Intelligence Managers are expected to lead/chair all reporting prioritization meetings, assign tasks to resources on their teams, and be an active leader in maintaining data governance within the organization. This position will serve as the primary lead with the Executive teams of each service line and manage various analytical-related projects and ad hoc requests from the various clinical departments. They will become knowledgeable about their assigned clinical departments and service lines and mentor Analysts to become critical members of those clinical areas. This position will provide technical advice and support for each analyst in order to grow their given skill set. They will be responsible for creating and ensuring that Analysts are following approved developmental standards, definitions, and style guides and keeping our production reports up to date and documented.
