We are looking for a Management Accountant for the Manufacturing Controlling department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting senior leaders with conducting financial reviews, analyzing data, budgeting, and forecasting. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues based in France/Germany/US.
The team consists of 4 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available for full-time. You will be based at our site in Royston, with hybrid working available.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will support the Operations departments (Manufacturing, R&D, Service) with analysis and reporting to monitor output and steer decision making
You will ensure timely and accurate month end reporting with detailed understanding of variances, to budget and prior year, reviewing production costing, conducting cost roll updates
Do you enjoy presenting? You will be presenting insightful data, explain accounting concepts to senior leaders
In addition, you will perform monthly cost center, profitability and other analysis and comparisons, as well as leading monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the activities, carry out forecasting, budgeting multiyear processes
You will partner with local business leaders and other department heads by supporting decisions and following up on action plans
You will produce monthly/weekly labour hours and absorption reporting identifying trends and identifying and driving process changes in order to improve accuracy of reported data
What will convince us
A part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience
Experience in financial and operations analysis experience with a track record of driving process improvements ideally within manufacturing industry however candidates from other industries will also be considered
Strong Microsoft Office skills, Excel, and PowerPoint
SAP/ERP experience would be ideal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and commercial awareness
Motivated and keen to learn
