Front Desk Receptionist

　　Laser and Skin Surgery of Southampton

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

　　*Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following.

　　Responsible for clerical duties at the reception desk

　　Meet & greet patients

　　Register patients in the computer

　　Scan insurance information

　　Scan identification card

　　Take photograph of patient

　　Have patient register in the Kiosk

　　Have patient sign appropriate waivers

　　Answer phones, when necessary

　　Prepare encounter forms for next day

　　Data Entry of patient information

　　Escorts patient to appropriate waiting areas

　　Brings chart to nursing station

　　Update information in computer

　　Other job related tasks, as assigned by supervisors and/or chief operating officer

　　ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

　　Excellent customer service and communication skills

　　Demonstrates genuine concern for patients

　　Ability to multi-task

　　Work as a team member

　　Organized and strong attention to detail

　　Willing to work additional hours, flexible hours and late work schedules

　　Treats patients and co-workers with respect

　　EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

　　Two years medical office experience

　　Salary: $23-$25/Hour
