Ferrous Processing and Trading a business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at the Lonyo operation. The Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain machinery and production equipment with assistance as needed.

　　Summary of Responsibilities:

　　Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions

　　Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to the problem area

　　Changes hose assemblies and conveyor belts

　　Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of the drive mechanism or hydraulic system

　　Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machines and installs a new pipe

　　Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair

　　Work in a safe manner, following all relevant safety policies and procedures

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Minimum of one year experience as a Machine Repair Technician

　　Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Effective verbal and written communication

　　Self-motivated and self-directed

　　Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
