A team of highly skilled and experienced scientists, engineers, and analysts offer both the expertise and technology to provide solutions for Analytical Microscopy, Surface Analysis and Failure Analysis. 

We have a great opportunity for a skilled Scientist to join our dynamic TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) group.  

The TEM Scientist will be responsible for:

Partnering with team members to provide high quality analysis service to clients. 

Operating TEM tools to obtain TEM/STEM images, SAED, EDS and EELS data from samples.

Developing TEM analysis protocols/techniques to meet clients’ requests.

Creating summary reports to capture the project objectives, analysis data and interpretation of the results.

Work Schedule: 5pm-2am, Tuesdays to Saturdays

MS or PhD in Materials Science or related field.

3yrs+ hands-on experience in TEM analysis characterizing a variety of materials.

Must be proficient in Mandarin - verbal and written, to support client needs

Excellent understanding of the operations and principles of TEM tools.

Expert background in electron microscopy, including TEM/STEM, SAED, 4D-STEM, EDS and EELS, etc.

What would set you apart:

Familiarity with FEI and JEOL electron microscope tools.

Experience with semiconductor chip products and wafer samples is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).

Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead.

Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.

Ability to handle small and fragile devices with tweezers and /or fingers.

Require close distance visual acuity with or without correction (Glasses, Contacts, etc.).

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise. Additional evening shift differential will apply.
