Hours: 12:00-8:30; Will train on day shift 6:00-2:30pm.
Primary Role: Maintenance Technician for Latham Pool Products will be responsible for the maintaining all equipment used in manufacturing product; execution of various EH&S plans; training staff and keeping other Maintenance Technicians actively scheduled and engaged in their work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all LOTO procedures.
Overall responsibility for the readiness of the equipment and machines, plus all buildings and grounds concerns.
Stock and store replacement and consumable machine parts.
Schedule Preventative Maintenance on Plant Systems.
Assist other technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing plant concerns.
Train maintenance department personnel when necessary.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems - both routine and complex using a defined method of troubleshooting to get to root cause.
Maintain equipment records.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree/Certification in technical field is a plus but not required.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years maintenance or related-industry experience.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work Overtime, Weekends, and Nights.
Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Familiar with personal computers.
Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
The ability to work in a team environment, including being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating proactively in all team events.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
