About the role: Our Maintenance Technicians are very valuable to us here at Lexington because they are imperative to our machines running and creating quality products for our customers.The hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 2:15 am.They perform periodic preventive maintenance and inspection checks on equipment, machine tools, and building equipment. Another part of their role includes performing maintenance and troubleshooting equipment/machine malfunction, including electrical and mechanical issues, which may require dismantling the machine and cleaning, adjusting/repairing/replacing defective parts, and testing the machine to ensure it is running properly. On a daily basis, they use computerized equipment and communicate regularly with other team members. This position will report to our Maintenance Supervisor, who is on-site. This is a great role for someone who is familiar withtroubleshooting 110, 208, and 480v 1ph and 3ph circuits and someone who might have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.If you are reliable, looking for growth opportunities, and like to work with your hands, this role could be a great fit for you! Job Requirements: 2-year technical degree or 2+ years previous experience or a combination thereof. Requires mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical, and plumbing. Ability to use all types of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Ability to set up VFD and troubleshoot electrical control and wiring problems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions, manuals, prints, mechanical blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
