We are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Team Lead based in West Jordan, UT!The fundamental role of the Maintenance Lead is to assist the Reliability Engineer in the coordination of planned and unplanned maintenance work to ensure on-time completion of PM's, DPM's and rebuilds. Training employees on equipment related tasks, leading and directing work of the maintenance team. This position requires the ability to demonstrate excellent team building, people management, and leadership skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills, including face to face, written, and presentation skills, and excellent external and internal functional/ cross-functional communications skills.The base compensation range for this position is $33.34-$38.06 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus an additional $2.00 per hour premium over the normal rate while performing team lead responsibilities. This position will work Day Shift, Monday to Friday, from 06:00 AM to 14:30 PM plus Overtime. 　　Skills and Abilities* 5-8 years of experience as a Mechanic* Functional knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and plumbing systems* Demonstrated experience with LOTO principles and practices* Demonstrated ability to utilize Maintenance Performance Measurements (KPIs)* Working knowledge of break down analysis/root cause analysis tools with preventive and predictive concepts, and lowest cost of ownershipCommunication Skills* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals* Ability to write routine reports, SOP's, OPL's and correspondence* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization at all levels, including janitorial, management, and executivesMathematical Skills* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar and line graphs* Position requires algebraic and geometric math skills. and a thorough understanding of mechanical procedures as related to maintenance applications.* Ability to understand both English and Metric (SI) units. Able to convert between Systems.Reasoning Ability* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations* Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgencyComputer Skills* Strong computer skills needed including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
