Description
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the financial statements and other financial reports to be used by Management of the various entities. The Senior Accountant is expected to interact with individuals in and outside, in a professional manner exercising excellent customer service skills. The progression for the Senior Accountant is determined by the level of supervision required to keep the accountant productive as well as the experienced gained in the role as Senior Accountant.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in month-end close and year-end audit, account reconciliations, general ledger analysis
Experience in Form 990, 990-T, and IL990-T a plus
Ability to research accounting pronouncements and implement the changes is a plus
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and through completion
Willingness and eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
