This includes managing preventative maintenance programs, emergency repairs, routine maintenance call outs, and regulatory compliance.REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED degree and/or equivalent training required.Experience with elevator equipment and operations are required.Maintenance experience with a mechanical aptitude is a must.Experience in a lead role providing oversight and delegating tasks to employees.Ability to see, hear, smell, and talk to prevent and communicate machinery malfunctions and safety hazards.Knowledge of safety hazards and regulations associated with port and grain elevator facilities.Experience working with Longshore millwrights and understanding union rules and regulations preferred.Must be an effective and respectful communicator both orally and in writing.This is a physical job that requires both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather/temperatures.Ability to work flexible days and hours, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERReasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities perform the essential functions of the job.United Grain Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
