  Summary:

  Provides planning support for Maintenance Foremen in the field by planning project schedules, ensuring equipment and materials needed are on site, and ensuring project site is clean and safe. Responsible for coordination and support of all outside contractors involved in project.

  Facilities - Related_6 years experience in maintenance or construction tradecrafts or engineering.

  Recommended Work Experience:

  Healthcare - 3 years of experience

  Boiler Operator License - Arkansas Department of Labor Boiler Operator's License Division, Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), HVAC/R License - Arkansas Department of Labor, Journeyman Electrician - Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners, Journeyman Plumber - AR Department of Health Plumbing and Natural Gas, Master’s Plumber - AR Department of Health Plumbing and Natural Gas

  Description

  Plans and directs workflow on the project site.

  Meets with manager and/or foreman to establish project scope, identify the contractors needed, discuss schedule and any needed permits, precautions, and other safety elements that may to be handled.

  Completes and submits all permits as required, and ensures contractors working on job-site have had safety training and are licensed to perform work being completed.

  Coordinates training on new equipment when applicable.

  Communicates with all parties impacted by project throughout the project and tries to schedule work so as to minimize any disruption.

  Performs other duties as assigned.
