Summary
The Maintenance Manager – Maintenance Operations is responsible for planning and overseeing all repairs and upkeep of the Carhartt Distribution Center (RCV) and leadership and development of the on-site maintenance team.

Responsibilities
• Coach, mentor and develop maintenance supervisors and maintenance team . • Responsible for creating and managing an annual operating budget that promotes growth and profitability.• Lead the DC maintenance function, providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled technical service on all operational equipment including lift trucks, electrical, pneumatic, robotic, conveyance, and software.• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and best practices.• Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs and procedures.• Oversee maintenance personnel within the Distribution Center for all four shifts. This includes but not limited to hiring, performance management, mentoring, coaching, and training. • Prioritize repair efforts to minimize impact on production when faced with multiple equipment issues.• Implement and manage continuous improvement in training, work practices and processes. Develop and share best practices across the company. • Work with repair vendors/contractors to ensure prompt attention to physical building repairs and maintenance including proper permitting and safety measures.• Maintain buildings/facility to ensure that it meets all government, local and safety requirements, as well as company expectations.• Actively participate in Safety Meetings for assigned facilities to include monthly audit of physical building and safety audit as well.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience requiredRequired Skills and Experience
• 5 years’ management experience required• 5 years’ experience in maintenance in a distribution or manufacturing facility required• Experience managing large teams on multiple shifts preferred• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required• Experience with computer systems including email and Microsoft Office required• Experience working with AutoCAD preferred• Ability to handle multiple projects and programs concurrently
