Our manufacturing plant is looking to find qualified candidates to fillthe open position of a Maintenance Mechanic in 1st shift. The successfulmaintenance mechanic will work under the supervision of a maintenancemanager, and will be expected to perform the following duties, tasks,and responsibilities shown in the job description below: SUMMARY You areresponsible for assisting and maintaining the commercial grade machinesthat produce the delish products including but not limited to conveyors,ovens, large mixers, and similar. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systemsthroughout the facility \ Understands fractions and decimals \ Basicknowledge of Lathe and Milling machine equipment \ Ability to usecalipers, micrometer\'s, and scales \ Basic knowledge of automatedpackaging machinery operation, troubleshooting and repair \ Capable touse all of shop equipment and hand tools \ Basic knowledge ofprincipals of power transmission/ gearboxes \ Basic knowledge ofbearing types and application \ Basic knowledge of pump theory,operation and repair \ Basic knowledge of pneumatic principles,application troubleshooting and repair \ Basic knowledge of hydraulicprinciples, application troubleshooting and repair \ Basic knowledge ofrebuilding of air cylinders \ Capable of reading basic electricalschematics \ Work safely with both low and high voltage circuits \Diagnose minor electric motor, motor control and device control problems\ Ability to weld and solder \ Understands torching and plasma cutting\ Basic understanding of Tig, Big and Arc welding and performing smallrepairs \ Basic plumbing and carpentry skills \ Ability to identifyand order parts and materials from manufacturers\' manuals and prints \Communicate both oral and written instructions \ Other duties asassigned Salary range will vary depending on your Skill Level (ClassA-C) Mechanic.
