Job Summary
The jobholder drives change and business results using stronginfluential skills, ability to build relationships and deep functionalHR expertise. The jobholder is responsible for People Strategydevelopment and implementation for one or more groups of salt producingfacilities, including providing primary oversight and leadership to sitebased Human Resources managers and support personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coach, counsel, guide and mentor a group of HR site leaders on bestpractices related to attracting, engaging and investing in employeesthrough the employee lifecycle.
Partner with site HR Teams to oversee the implementation of strategic HRinitiatives related to people development, talent management, staffing,retention, diversity, organizational development and performancemanagement for union and non-union (Staff) employees at multiplelocations in North America.
Guide the HR team members to ensure the HR function\'s priorities andefforts are customer centric and aligned to the execution of theoperational strategy.
Oversee talent acquisition strategy, objectives and KPIs for area ofresponsibility. Ensure development of a robust and sustainable talentpipeline for production, trades, technical and supervisory positions
Provide subject matter expertise and counsel Site HR Managers,Operations Directors and other business leaders on change management.
Provide coaching and consultation to site HR and operations managementregarding communication and leadership style and its impact ondepartmental change efforts.
Provide expertise, counsel and coaching support to department leadersand direct reports on HR annual processes and systems with goal ofbuilding management competencies within the local leadership team.
Oversee Site HR Manager activities related to managing unionrelationships to include contract negotiations, monthly meetings,grievance investigation and response, arbitration and other laborrelations functions.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, Health and other federal,state, local and Company policies, procedures, and requirements.
