Job Description:

　　Material Engineer

　　Abu Dhabi, UAE

　　Parsons is looking for an accomplished Materials Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment.

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site.

　　Designs storage facilities and establishes material and equipment inventory and tracking systems.

　　Establishes warehouse procedures for the control of piping, valves, fittings and electrical, instrumentation, and consumable supplies and tools.

　　Expedites both field and home office purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

　　Oversees receiving, off-loading, storage, and issuance of construction materials.

　　May be responsible for field purchasing.

　　May trains and provide technical guidance for personnel in use of DMCS entry and reports.

　　Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

　　What Required Skills You'll Bring:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

　　At least 10+ years of experience in Marine Civil Engineering including breakwaters, revetments, quay wall and reclamation works .

　　Requires a working knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a familiarity with industry practices.

　　Proficient PC skills including a familiarity with various software used for inventory control, such as Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS).
