Description:
A facility located in Auburn, IN is seeking to add maintenance mechanics to their maintenance team. These mechanics will be responsible for primarily mechanical repairs on their equipment. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs on their conveyor systems including swapping out drives and 3-phase motors. They will also be working on their mobile equipment (forklifts, skid steers, etc.) this will include; replacing hydraulic hoses, light fabrication on skid steers and changing out hydraulic cylinders. Mechanics can also expect to change out blades and augers on their shredder machine.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Fabrication experience
-Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems
-Ability to troubleshoot 480v 3-phase motors
-High level of mechanical aptitude
Shift: 1st- 7am-3:30pm
2nd: 3pm-11pm/4pm-12am
Compensation: $20-26 range based on experience
OT: Expect to work at least 45 hours a week. Their is plenty of optional OT available on top of that though. As for weekends, they do not work many but there are a few mandatory Saturdays throughout the year.
