　　Job Description

　　AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to be based in Virginia Beach, VA office.

　　The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

　　Builds analytic and design skills.

　　Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

　　Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

　　Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

　　Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

　　Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Preferred Qualifications:

　　FE/EIT is highly desirable.

　　Relevant internship or professional work experience in support of transportation design.

　　Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software.

　　Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

　　Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively.

　　Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks daily.

　　Strong interpersonal skills.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

　　Familiarity with CADD software such as MicroStation.

　　Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices when public transportation is not available. Selected candidate will undergo a Motor Vehicle Records review.

　　Offered rate of compensation (Virginia locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $55,029.50 - $75,665.57.
