Maintenance Mechanic (1st Shift)

　　Job Summary

　　We are a growing Company building our Wood Center of Excellence for our wood ceilings offerings. In line with this, our Strongsville Ohio location is currently recruiting for a 1 st Shift Maintenance Mechanic.

　　The position reports directly to the Performance Improvement Manager and works with the Maintenance team to install/repair production equipment and perform facility upgrades as needed. The facility has highly automated, state of the art equipment, so the position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow. Areas of focus include:

　　Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

　　Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

　　Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

　　Maintaining facilities including plumbing, painting flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs, etc.

　　Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary

　　Salary: $30.00- $35.00 per hour

　　Hours: 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 am Monday - Friday, OT as needed

　　Required Qualifications

　　Minimum Skill Requirements

　　HS diploma, GED

　　3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience

　　Ability to work in a team-based environment with little or no supervision

　　Good reasoning/mechanical aptitude

　　Strong organizational/time management skills

　　Attention to detail
