　　What’s the job?

　　As a frontline leader, the expectation is to be able to build teamwork within your shift and motivate and engage the workforce to meet expectations. Promote safety as the most important factor each day.

　　Lead a production shift of 30 +/- people in a vinyl extrusion environment to ensure safety, quality, and production in the manufacturing of vinyl siding.

　　Drive safety and accountability of team while achieving OEE metrics daily.

　　Engage and support personnel on shift with time and attendance tasks, progressive discipline, coaching, counseling, and training.

　　Motivate shift to perform required safety and 5S tasks on daily basis to ensure housekeeping standards are upheld.

　　Frontline leadership ability is key to provide employees a successful and rewarding experience at CertainTeed.

　　Minimal travel involved, may be asked to visit other CertainTeed locations for various events.

　　Production operates 24/7 on a 2-2-3 schedule every two weeks. Working hours are 5pm to 6:30 am. Must be able to work weekends. Must be able to work a 13-hour shift.

　　Required Qualifications

　　What do you bring?

　　Education – Associates degree preferred

　　Additional training/certifications related to the position

　　3 – 5 years of experience preferred in leadership role

　　Good communication skills, ability to multi-task, willingness to learn, organized

　　Specific soft skills to be successful in the role – good listener, open minded, respectful to all

　　Key technologies specifically related to the role – UKG or Kronos experience, Microsoft Office, SAP

　　Able to work a 13-hour shift: Production operates 24/7 on a 2-2-3 schedule every two weeks. Working hours are 5pm to 6:30 am. Must be able to work weekends.
