Maintenance Engineer

　　Your primary focus will be on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of various systems and equipment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

　　Responsibilities

　　Carry out corrective maintenance following the electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnosis procedures, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery

　　Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.

　　Identify parts for replacement in machinery and equipment based on the equipment manual and or parts identification information.

　　Work in an inventory of spare parts and tooling according to wear identified by machinery, equipment or facilities

　　Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, etc. assembly or manufacture structures (metal, wood) as required for production equipment, machinery and building facilities, in addition to painting as required

　　Make modifications and improvements to production and building equipment

　　Safely perform work on facility electric up to category 2, 480VAC 3 phase category 2

　　Perform work at heights above four feet.

　　Process work requests using a computerized maintenance management system.

　　Perform all duties as assigned.

　　The incumbent must be observant to possible repairs in the facility and fix repairs quickly and effectively

　　CNC machinery/ assembly equipment mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (mills, lathes, presses, custom assembly equipment related to business)

　　Tasks related to machine installation (air, electrical, hydraulic)

　　Supervised electrical installation

　　Facility and production machinery repair and installation

　　Chemical maintenance on Clean-line

　　Monitoring and testing machines

　　Plumbing repairs, carpentry and general maintenance and upkeep of the facility

　　Adheres to all safety rules and report questionable conditions to department supervisor

　　Apply and recommend Lean practices

　　Ability to meet deadlines for completion of tasks in a timely manner

　　Must be able to physically complete required tasks including standing for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, climb ladders/stairs, work on roofs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs Must be able to locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

　　Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

　　Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an industrial environment including moving mechanical parts

　　Qualifications

　　4 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance position, required

　　High school diploma or equivalent is generally required.

　　Vocational or technical training in maintenance-related fields is beneficial.

　　Interpersonal skills to handle different internal personnel and to meet requirements and customer satisfaction

　　Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus

　　Must have working technical knowledge including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical repair and PLC

　　Proven experience in electromechanical diagnosis and repair.

　　Proven experience in diagnosis and mechanical repair

　　Proven experience in the use of hand tools

　　Proven experience in the use of PLC, reading schematic drawings of electrical control and ladder logic.

　　Proven experience in the use of a computer.

　　Strong problem solving and troubleshooting aptitude.
