Job Title: Specimen Processor

　　Description:

　　The main function of a specimen processor is to perform specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operation procedures, introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing, open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Experience with packaging, shipping, and sending specimens out

　　Answer telephones, maintain logs/record, and proficiency with numbers

　　Organizational skills, research information

　　Time management, written and verbal communications

　　Schedule:

　　Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm, rotating weekends (12:30pm-9:00pm or 9am-5:30pm depending on the the weekend need)

　　Training is Monday-Friday, but will turn into rotating weekends
