The Maintenance and Engineering Supervisor (Coach) leads front line teamof Maintenance Technicians. This role is responsible for people and teamdevelopment, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. This rolewill act as a Coach to develop maintenance technicians and help facilitateproblem solving. Primary responsibility will be focused on planning routinemaintenance downtime activities and scheduling these activities utilizing SAPCMMS system. This role will also be responsible for ensuring all jobs have thecorrect parts identified and kitted to maximize effectiveness of theTechnicians. The role will also lead the execution of the downtime plans theyhave created. The role will be responsible for tracking standard maintenanceKPIs that will be utilized to measure the effectiveness of the downtimeexecution and look for improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities* Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity byeffectively planning scheduling and supervising execution of maintenanceactivities.* Ensure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)* Schedule/Assign Technicians work in CMMS system for daily activities andfor downtime activities* Responsible for kitting required parts and working with parts coordinatorsto acquire necessary parts* Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and techniciancapabilities* Implement process improvements to drive package and flavor changeoverefficiency* Utilize visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plantperformance* Track standard manufacturing and warehouse metrics and prioritize plantmaintenance opportunities* Develop a team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- andlong-term performance goals* Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes andminimizing people impact* Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solveoperational issues* Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring,training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel* Motivate team members to achieve plan goals* Administer policies and procedures* Regular and predictable attendance at the work site* Prioritize work requests* This role requires regular presence on the plant floor, lifting up to 40lbs occasionally, may operate forklift and manufacturing equipmentoccasionally and occasional work in poor weather conditions, includingheat, cold, rain, or snow.* This role will require off-shift and some weekend work* Some travel (less than 5%)
Qualifications* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably inengineering, business, operations management, or similar field* Experience planning and scheduling maintenance work* Mechanical experience maintaining equipment* Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications* Ability to give and receive constructive feedback* Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making* Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment* Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoringothers* Effective mentoring, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills* This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in theUnited States* Must have a valid drivers license* Safe driving record strongly preferredCompensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation r nge for this position is between $62,700 -$104,850 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be consideredin setting actual starting salary* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% ofannual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave,vacation, sick, and bereavement.* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package tosupport our employees and their families, subject to elections andeligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health andDependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program(EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), DefinedContribution Retirement
