JOB REQUIREMENTS: Analyze blueprints and other documentation to preparetime, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Assess cost effectiveness ofproducts, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bidsas the project develops. Conduct special studies to develop andestablish standard hour and related cost data or to effect costreduction. Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors andsubcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Consultwith clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or constructionforemen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Establishand maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.
