As aMaintenance Staff Member,you’llbe responsibleforensuring that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properlymaintainedand allcommon areasaremaintainedin a clean aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition.ÂÂ

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

Routinely walks floors including roof checking for problems and lights out and reports back to supervisors.Â

Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.Â

Maintains working relationship with building staff.ÂÂ

Painting of allcommon areasand touch up may berequired. Responsiblefor inspectingareas that need paint andadvisemanager.Â

Completes daily work orders as scheduled.Â

Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.Â

Properly performs casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items as directed by supervisors and followingappropriate safetyprocedures.Â

Performs minor maintenance replacement and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other building repairs through daily scheduled work orders.ÂÂ

Follows safety procedures andmaintainsa safe work environment.Â

Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairsas long asa permit is not required to conduct the job.Â

Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.Â

Skills Qualifications:Â Â

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.ÂÂ

(2) yearsgeneral experiencein building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy work. ÂÂ

Effective written and verbal communication skills.ÂÂ

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. ÂÂ

Multiple language fluency is desirable.Â

Physical Requirements:Â Â

Ability tolift upto 50lbsfollowingappropriate safetyproceduresÂÂ

Work in an upright standing position forlong periodsof time; be able to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lowerbodyÂ

Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting,kneelingand squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily asrequiredto meet the jobfunctionsÂ

Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders)Â

Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g.,heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)ÂÂ

Repeat various motions with the wrists,handsandfingersÂÂ

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50lbsoccasionally to completeassigned jobtasksÂ

Communicate,receiveand exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and writtenwordÂÂ

Maintain a valid Florida driver’slicenseÂ
