Job Summary
The Main Service Representative coordinates the operational tasks of the Service Representatives
under the direction of Branch Management, assists in the daily consolidation/reconciliation
processes and efficiently and effectively serves Branch clients, satisfying
their needs and complying with all the applicable programs, policies,
procedures and regulations.
Essential Responsibilities
Supports Branch Management by coordinating and monitoring the
procedures and duties performed by the Service Representatives, as well as
receives and delivers cash.
Performs duties of a Service Representative, such as, but not
limited to processing monetary transactions, performing mechanized
transaction/entries to the organizationâs informational systems.

Supports the Branch Sales Assistant Manager and/or
Unit Supervisor with the security systems
monitoring tasks, like ATM and vault management.
Performs accounting duties, including but not limited to the preparation of the daily consolidation,
GL and accounting journal entries and preparation of checks.
Manages the Cash Reserve, receiving the delivery of cash reserves,
monitoring and controlling the service
representativesâ cash limits and tallying the reserve.
Performs administrative duties including but not limited to
maintenance of logs, performing and submitting results reports, security
testing and informing management of irregularities.
Attends and orients clients to promote the sales of service and
products, as well as responds to inquiries and assists with implementation
of solutions.
Maintains a log of the work area documents and forms.
Complies with all related laws and regulations including but not
limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending and
Community Reinvestment Act.
Complies with the Branch Selling Culture, goals, working plans and
administrative procedures including but not limited to the Total Quality
Program.
Contributes to Branch growth by applying the Selling Culture and
OSS Program.

Supports the tasks of the Branch Sales Assistant Manager and/or
Unit Supervisor.
Assists management with special projects and tasks as requested.
Performs related duties as assigned.

judgment is limited to very specific transactional activities for which the
employee has been trained to perform; exercises very limited judgment within
the parameters of assigned authorizations; seeks guidance and direction from
management when activities or finding exceed established authorities and
guidelines.

This position has no

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma from an
accredited institution and Technical courses related to the banking industry or
an Associateâs Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
·
Two or more years of
experience as a Service Representative/Teller
·
Experience in assessing
clients needs to promote, refer or cross sell various bank products and
services
·
Successful completion of
the organizationâs placement test and training program
·
Ability to work flexible
and non-traditional hours, including Saturday, Sunday and holidays
