　　Job Description

　　Coffman Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer for our Anchorage office. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player with 5+ years of project management, design, and engineering experience in alternative energy (microgrids, hydrogen, etc.) and Industrial engineering for oil, gas and refining related facilities. Coffman's office offers a small firm work environment with large firm opportunities.

　　You would report directly to a local office Department Manager, but you would also be supporting the Corporate Hydrogen and CCUS Vice President's efforts across all 20 Coffman offices.

　　The ideal candidate will have experience in: engineering for a variety of projects involving electrical utilities, energy projects, power projects, renewable energy, building and module design, LNG, refinery, OandG production systems and pipelines; and, overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multifaceted multidiscipline projects. Candidates should have experience leading a multidiscipline team of engineers and designers. Candidate should also have desire and expertise in business development to bring in projects and new clients to Coffman.

　　Qualifications

　　Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Alaska (preferred) with Engineering background.Project or Construction Management experience in the specified industries and sectorsBusiness development experience5+ years of experience in a mix of Energy, Industrial, and OandGAbility to lead a multidiscipline engineering teamAbility to provide detailed peer review of designs for all engineering disciplines.Ability to develop proposals, execution plans and technical engineering reportsExperience with front end loading engineering process and programmingExperience with project feasibility reports.Experience with total installed cost developmentExperience with project controls and schedulingAbility to communicate with client/stakeholders effectively, including running design charettes and team meetings with all project stakeholdersReading and preparing project drawings and documents including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, facility building plans, electrical one lines, site plans, foundation plans, sections, specifications, cut sheets, basis of design, and bills of materials.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsTravelling to provide support at job sites and to other Coffman offices (less than 25% of time)This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
