All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)Job SummaryEmployees in this position will learn how to perform tasks in support of the Level 1 and Level II Non-Destructive Testing Inspector(s) including loading, running, and unloading the ovens for stress bakes and vapor degreasing. To succeed in this role, the NDT Assistant will maintain and organize a daily schedule of process bake times and communicate appropriately to variable departments including, but not limited to, NDT and Plating. NDT Assistants perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with experienced Level I and II NDT Inspectors to complete work and prioritize tasks.Learn to follow shop traveler, technique card, customer Purchase Orders, and instructions from experienced NDT Inspectors.Learn general review of paperwork to ensure all previous operations were completed. Process Support 2 median hourly range starts at $18 to $21/per hour. Applicants with partial NAS410 Certifications that includes on-the-job training in Level I, or part of Level 2 in Magnetic Particle (MT), or Liquid Penetrant (PT)
