We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Operations team as a Mailroom Clerk. The Mailroom Clerk will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries for our bank department. The ideal candidate will possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
salary: $17 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate recipients within the bank department.
Collect, process, and distribute outgoing mail, ensuring accurate addressing, postage, and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail using designated tracking systems or databases.
Handle special mail requests such as rush deliveries, certified mail, and confidential correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
Manage incoming packages and deliveries, including logging, storage, and distribution to the intended recipients.
Monitor and maintain mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, scales, and sorting machines, ensuring they are in good working order.
Order and maintain supplies necessary for mailroom operations, including envelopes, packaging materials, and postage stamps.
Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing mail handling, security, and confidentiality.
Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external partners regarding mail inquiries or special requests.
Assist with other administrative tasks and projects within the Operations department, as needed.
