Are you not afraid to get your hands dirty and accustomed to harsh environments? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator Helper/Production Associate with sit down forklift experience for an industrial recyling facility that manufactures paperboard and specialty converting. Basic Math, Tape Measure, and Computer Skills a MUST. Qualifications:

Ability to work in harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, dust, or noise.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience operating forklifts in a production setting - 10% of job.

Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required.

May work overtime and on weekend occasionally

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Stooping/bending/squatting/pulling/pushing, twisting of the trunk and neck, reaching and grasping/squeezing

Tolerance for working in varying temperatures and conditions.

salary: $15 - $16 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and upkeep of machinery.

Shrink wrapping pallets

Assembly line for rotary cut

Cross training throughout departments

Load and unload materials using sit down forklifts - 10% of job.

Perform routine visual inspections on machinery for hazards and report.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Monitor production processes and report any issues or deviations to supervisors.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality and safety.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 7 hours at one time
