Location: Aldine/Greenspoint Area

　　Monday thru Friday: 4:30pm - 3am & potential Saturday's if needed for production (5 or 10 hour shifts)

　　Pay: $15.50/hr

　　The Machine Operator (Bender) position works to fabricate HVAC components by using various machinery such as press brakes, coil lines or punch breaks to cut, form or bend sheet metal. Must also inspect the finished products for quality and dimension accuracy.

　　PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Candidates for the Machine Operator I position must be capable of the following:

　　Must be able to study and interpret drawings of specific component measurements and set up manual machine gauging.

　　Efficiently use assigned machinery to complete the quantity of units required per assembly production needs.

　　Inspect all parts to ensure that the dimensions of each are correct using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.

　　Detect poorly fabricated parts and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision using quality control forms.

　　Maintain reliability with a great attention to detail; many tasks will be scheduled, time sensitive and quality driven.

　　Recognize an issue with any function of a machine and report to the Maintenance Department or proper supervision.

　　SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

　　The Machine Operator I will be required to possess the following:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent

　　Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates (outdoors/warehouse)

　　Must have the physical ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

　　Must be reliable and have great attention to detail.

　　Abilities Desired but Not Required:

　　Knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication
