Immediate Machine Operator Position

Description:

• Load and unloads machines for drilling, tapping, seating die castings

• Inspect parts to machining drawings/blue prints with thread gages, micrometers, calipers, go/no-gages, etc

• Assists group leader at times with machine change overs

• Examines products to verify quality which may include testing

• Identifies quality issues, determine causes, and reworks parts as necessary

• Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written.

• Ability to perform work in a safe manner.

• Must have high attention-to-detail and strong vision and hearing.

• Ability to learn new machines and production procedures.

• Ability to life 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks.

• Manual dexterity (i.e. the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasps and manipulate objects of varying sizes).

• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.

• Skill in active listening and following directions.
