　　What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:

　　Performing duties related to glass cutting, tempering, and handling in accordance the customer orders

　　Operating cutting, edging/seaming machines to produce finished products within standard tolerance

　　Setting up, operating, and performing basic maintenance on all machines within the department

　　Pre-staging raw material glass according to work orders and placing finished products in appropriate staging areas

　　Maintaining work area, inventory control, and quality control

　　Meeting production needs set by management

　　Performing repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment

　　Cross-training to perform job duties of other work stations

　　This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

　　Have a high school diploma or equivalent

　　Have at least 1 year of manufacturing/production experience (preferred)

　　Are dependable, hard-working, and proactive in performing assigned duties

　　Have the ability to make sound decisions related to safety

　　Have multi-tasking capabilities

　　Have the ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

　　Have basic computer skills

　　Have experience with hand and power tools

　　Have mechanical aptitude
