Machine Operator

　　1st shift: 6:30 am - 5:00pm (Monday - Thursday)

　　2nd Shift 5:15pm - 3:45am (Monday Thursday)

　　$18-21+HR

　　Job Description:

　　• Sets-up and operate any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

　　• Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machinery

　　• Adheres to operating procedures/instructions

　　• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity

　　• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors

　　• Communicate process and quality improvements via internal system

　　• Maintain a clean and safe work station; follow shop 5S system

　　• Ability to read and perform basic math skills including counting

　　• Ability to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand tools

　　• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken

　　• Basic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specs

　　• Able to follow directions

　　• Strong manual dexterity

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Ability to read blueprints or work instructions

　　1+ years of machine Operating or Manufacturing

　　Ability to lift 50lbs

　　Performing machine set ups

　　Utilizing micrometers, calipers and gages

　　Operating Slitter machinery
