POSITION DESCRIPTION
It´s responsible to provide Packaging leadership as CTAG Packaging Team representative in the Factory.
It´s responsible to lead the Packaging activities related to the implementation of I&R projects in the factory (category and local projects).
It´s responsible to actively contribute to continuous improvement projects / initiatives to impact packaging performance in the factory and across the value chain (Total Delivery Costs).
It´s responsible to be the advocate for Packaging Quality in the factory -
It´s responsible to ensure packaging catalogue is implemented and fulfil all the packaging deliverables: compliance, food safety, environmental sustainability (Plastic Commitment), quality to run efficiently in our factories, and in the supply chain, in line with consumer centricity and at optimal cost through standardization.
YOUR DAY TO DAY…
Provide technical expertise to solve day to day factory packaging related issues
Act as technical interface between factory and CTAG Packaging Cluster Leads to turn initiatives into tangible committed actions between both teams (TDC, I&R, Sustainability, ...)
Support the “Deploy” of new packaging and technologies aligned with Zone and Category priorities
Analyze and implement preventive/corrective actions for packaging continuous improvement (e.g. following consumer complaints, participate DMAIC/GSTD, line efficiency, waste reduction ...)
Improve overall packaging process efficiency in filling & packing as well as material usage
Provide inputs and support for line commissioning and packaging validation for Capex
Identify TDC packaging opportunities within the factory and implement in alignment with the Category Packaging Strategy and Catalogue of standards (material, format, dimensions, palletization...).
Contribute to the development of qualitative packaging material purchasing specifications and ensure optimal number of specs / pack materials in the factory and in the copacker, implementing harmonized materials when possible.
Provide site leadership for the development and implementation of new packaging solutions in the factory (category and local projects) - Ensure packaging standards (Packaging Catalogue) are applied in the factory and take actions to sustain the packaging performance
Drive within the factory, packaging related 360 quality improvement to consistently deliver packaging quality from incoming packaging material through supply chain (IN-C, consumer and customer complaints, Grading deviations)
DOES YOUR PROFILE FIT?
Graduate in Packaging technology, material science or mechanical engineering.
Problem solving approach.
Project management experience
Operational Experience: Packaging development, packing operation or experience from converting industry
Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
Experience of working 'above the market' managing multiple stakeholders/implementation sites
Fluent in English; other languages would be an advantage.
