About the role:

As a Machine Learning Data Science Analyst , you will play crucial role in developing and deploying machine learning and artificial intelligence models to solve complex challenges in industrial data applications. This opportunity will allow you to work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage big data, improve decision-making processes, and enhance efficiencies and service offerings.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy AI and ML data models to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify patterns, and improve the decision-making processes.

Partner and collaborate with data engineering and system application teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into Siemens DISW solutions.

Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML technologies and methodologies to keep Siemens DISW at the cutting edge of digital industrial software.

Communicate complex data findings and model predictions to non-technical stakeholders.

Applying AI and data science methods to solve real-world problems across finance operations. This requires understanding the industry-specific challenges and how data can be leveraged to address them.

Understanding and applying ethical considerations in the development and deployment of ML AI systems, including issues related to privacy, bias, and fairness.

Fully remote or hybrid – depending on your location.Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

· Proven experience in designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and AI solutions in an industrial setting creating and enabling value in the business.

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.

· Proven or demonstrable understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and algorithm design and model output interpretation.

· Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of big data technologies, data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

· Deep understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture.

· Exceptional problem-solving abilities and quantitative skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in cloud computing environments (Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, ETL, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of SaaS models.

Knowledge of digital twin technologies and their application in industrial contexts.

Background in industrial automation, IoT, or related fields.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
