Phoenix Home Care and Hospice in St. Louis, MO is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor to join our Private Duty Nursing team!

　　Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse and requires team supervision skills and a problem-solving attitude. You are the right fit if you thrive in nursing operations and have a heart for the nurses and families you serve. Our pediatric and young adult nursing team is established and rooted in St. Louis, MO as well as the surrounding areas. This will be a rewarding position and will provide opportunity to work alongside other talented nurses as well as Care Coordinator.

　　Availability: Full Time, Monday - Friday

　　Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000

　　Responsibilities

　　Supervise cases & nurses within the home setting.

　　Ensure operational standards are met.

　　Drive productivity and quality assurance.

　　Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures.

　　Train new nurses in and outside the home setting

　　Evaluate nurses’ performance.

　　Instrument of open and positive communication

　　Help handle complaints or other issues.

　　Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and nursing team.

　　Assess and document according to policy and POC.

　　Requirements

　　Active and current MO LPN License.

　　1-year pediatric nursing experience required.

　　Proven work experience as a supervisor

　　In-depth knowledge of private duty nursing is a plus but not required - we will train.

　　Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in nursing

　　Team supervision skills

　　Great communication and people skills

　　Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

　　Valid nursing license
