This LPN position is for a vacancy located in our Residential Inpatient Facility, Fontainebleau Treatment Center/Alcohol & Drug Unit, in Mandeville. This position is assigned to work 12-hour night shifts, and s hifts may be adjusted based on client and facility needs. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.
Incumbent may be asked to work other shifts depending on staffing needs. Shifts for this location include:
Day Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm
Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am
This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment.Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere from 6 months to 24 months.
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant’s level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range(s) for the position(s):
Licensed Practical Nurse 3: Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $22.30/hour - maximum of $33.08/hour
LPN's may be compensated shift differentials for actual hours worked, which range from $1.25/hour to $5.65/hour, depending on both the shift and the day worked. Additional premium pay is also paid for hours worked, which may be an additional $1.00/hour.
No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice practical nursing or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of practical nursing experience.

Examples of Work
This LPN position provides direct nursing care to clients receiving substance use treatment in a 24-hour residential facility. This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program. This position provides nursing coverage and performs standard nursing services on the unit, which may include the following: continuous observation of clients; administering prescribed medications; maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR); administering screenings, tests, and other required labs; conducting assessments and screens for newly admitted clients. Driving and alternating shift work may be required, and the chosen applicant may be required to possess or obtain a Chauffeur’s/Class D driver’s license if hired.
