DESCRIPTION{rel="nofollow"}BENEFITS{rel="nofollow"}DescriptionThe Director of Donor Engagement is responsible for cultivating and managing donor and alumni relationships for the college. This includes gift and scholarship management, donor and alumni relations, and scholarship distribution. This position requires a high level of community engagement and confidentiality. This position works closely with the Foundation Board of Directors on a broad array of fundraising initiatives. *RELATIONSHIPS AND CUSTOMERS *

DIMENSIONS *In conjunction with the Vice President for Advancement, this individual manages Foundation revenues totaling approximately $29 million. The Director is responsible for the development and management of fundraising campaigns, retaining and engaging our existing and growing donor/alumni base. This position manages and reconciles annual scholarship fund disbursements totaling approximately $600,000. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages donation processes for all Foundation campaigns; including major gifts, annual, Scholars, Friends of the Performing Arts Center, and special campaigns. Maintains donor databases; manages pledge fulfillment invoicing; generates campaign reports and correspondence. Reconciles reports with Business Office; receives and receipts contributions. Invoices, receives and tracks special event revenue. Responds to donor inquiries.

Manages all scholarship award processes and correspondence, including processing applications, establishing timelines and deadlines, organizing application scoring processes with external reviewers, and communicates results with applicants. Manages and maintains databases for scholarship recipients and scholarship applicants, and compiles data on award process after each award round. Responds to student scholarship inquiries; generates reports and reconciles with Business Office. Communicates expectations to scholarship recipients and tracks recipients in award management system to ensure compliance. Works closely with student services and financial aid offices. Facilitates correspondence with donors, notifying them of scholarship awards and sharing letters of acknowledgement from students.
