Description:

　　TEKsystems Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Telecommunications Technician to join our team in the Greater Nashville Area. This position offers a 6-month contract with the possibility of a permanent hire, along with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment. • Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot network issues. • Configure and program telecommunications devices and systems. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless network connectivity. • Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving issues. • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service activities. • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus. • Proven experience in telecommunications or related field. • Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including routers, switches, and cabling. • Familiarity with VoIP, PBX systems, and network protocols. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and requirements.
