Description Do you have experience working as a Logistics Clerk coordinating shipments? Logistics Clerks will find what they're looking for in this great Rogers, Arkansas opportunity through Robert Half. This position's important duties include coordinating with vendors, arranging shipments, and processing customer orders. Additionally, you will perform a heavy amount of data entry and customer service functions. A Transport company is looking for a candidate to fill a contract / temporary role for a long-term duration.

Your responsibilities in this role

Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

Perform various administrative duties

Conform to guidelines for approving carriers

Notify and plan with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

Watch, trace, and help dispatch progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

Verify freight bills and process bills of lading Requirements - Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

Experience with high volume data entry

A successful candidate for this position has experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functionsComprehensive knowledge of customer service

Means to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics
