　　Basic Job Functions:

　　Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore,candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeepingstandards at all times.

　　Responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator may include but arenot limited to:

　　Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers andteammates

　　Communicate with teammates and carriers to direct truck dispatchingusing CarrierPoint

　　Involvement with billing and processing shipments of rail and transloadactivities

　　Assists in developing, strategizing, and negotiating freight rates

　　Ensure visitors and contractors sign-in using the computer system,directing visitors/deliveries to destination

　　Provide daily reports for Shipping Department and Sales Team

　　Filling in at the trucks scales as needed (which may includeshift/overnight)

　　Process load requests, create and share reports, and other duties asneeded

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　1+ year experience in an administrative role

　　1+ year experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)in a business setting

　　1+ year experience with flatbed truck market, freight costs, and basicfreight calculations

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

　　Experience with CarrierPoint TMS, DAT, or Sky Blue Logistics
