This will be for a First Shift Lab Assistant in Brentwood, TN for Labcorp.

　　Job summary:

　　The laboratory assistant is responsible for the receipt of specimens into Molecular department. Other duties include but are not limited to equipment and record maintenance, inventory control, and locate/pull specimens from various departments as required.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Perform required maintenance on equipment

　　Triage specimens and prepare folders according to departmental guidelines.

　　Perform inventory control including the acceptance and storage of all laboratory supplies including reagents and office supplies

　　Completes additional work related assignments as required or requested by the department supervisor, senior technologist, or group lead.

　　Record and monitor required maintenance on equipment

　　Documents receipt of supplies in applicable logs

　　Maintains laboratory documentation per all applicable regulatory guidelines and coordinates off-site storage pick-up and delivery

　　Job Qualifications:

　　High School diploma or GED

　　No experience required

　　First Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm
