Three Rivers Community Action offers programming to support successful homeownership. We are looking for a person with an eye for detail and the ability to work on multiple projects to process loan applications for downpayment assistance and second mortgage gap financing loans. The Loan Processor is part of the high-performing, fast-paced Housing Development Team, and works closely with Homeownership Advisors to help diverse households and first-time buyers Achieve Homeownership. The Loan Processor also applies for program funds and reports on program compliance to funder agencies. This full-time position is (30-40 hours per week) and will be based in Zumbrota or possibly another Agency location (Faribault or Rochester).
The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent. One to three years of progressive experience in residential or commercial lending, real estate, business, or related field.
Experience in residential mortgage loan processing and/or underwriting preferred
Knowledge of and experience working with Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA)’s Rehabilitation Loan Program, Emergency Loan Program, Impact Fund program, or equivalent
Knowledge of real estate transactions, including mortgages, loan closings, and title and recording procedures
Ability to work with the public, articulate ideas and work with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
Extensive experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Functional Requirements:
This primarily office-based position requires lifting 20 pounds occasionally; communicating verbally in person and by phone; and seeing documents and computer screens
