Temporary full time position from 3/1/2024 to 10/31/2024Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of cattle.General Farm/Ranch Work will include the following responsibilities: trim and clear brush using chain saws and hand tools, hand stack debris for removal; maintain and make minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on farm/ranch machinery; may mix and/or spray chemicals (according to appropriate restrictive use laws, when/if applicable); remove undesirable and excess growth from pastures or farm/ranch grounds; paint/repair farm/ranch structures; replace/repair fencing; perform general cleanup of farm/ranch areas; operate all-terrain vehicle in the course of performing duties.Duties related to the production of Livestock will include the following: examine animals to determine delivery time, assist in delivery; feed/water livestock; load/unload feed trucks by hand; load/unload/stack baled hay by hand; manually clean/disinfect livestock corrals/stalls/sheds; dock, castrate, brand, clip/tag, vaccinate and clamp livestock.In view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers.
