Description

A midsized law firm in Downtown Seattle is seeking a Litigation Attorney. Cases include matters of business disputes, employment law, construction litigation, real estate disputes and other civil or commercial litigation. They offer a friendly collaborative environment in a modern office with beautiful views.

The salary range is 140-200k with additional bonus earnings based on merit and billable production. They offer comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401k with profit sharing, 4 weeks PTO, paid court holidays and other perks. The role allows for 2-3 days work-from-home flexibility if desired. The firm pays for bar dues and CLEs.

Responsibilities

This job requires the lawyer to assume substantial responsibility for the preparation of pleadings and briefs in trial courts, administrative proceedings, and appellate courts that reflect the highest caliber of legal scholarship and written advocacy. The successful candidate also will be involved in all aspects of discovery and will have opportunities for stand-up courtroom experience and direct client contact as their practice progresses. The successful candidate also will assist in researching issues and providing general counseling services to a variety of public, non-profit, and private clients. Requirements

· 1-7 years of general civil or commercial litigation experience

· Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials

· Excellent writing, research, and communication skills

· Active Washington State Bar License

· Law journal participation and/or judicial clerkship preferred
