　　Job Description

　　We are seeking aLinux/Unix Systems Engineerwith a Secret Clearance to support the Defense Security Cooperative Agency. This is a remote position, but candidate must be within 3 hours of Mechanicsburg, PA .

　　As aLinux/Unix System Administrator, you will:

　　A week in the life of aLinux/Unix Systems Engineer:

　　Develop and execute solutions to enhance Linux/UNIX projects including End-of-Life upgrade and migration.

　　Work closely with internal Network, Windows, and AWS Cloud Teams as well as external partners including DISA.

　　Provide Tier II and Tier III engineering, development, testing, and production environment support.

　　Responsible for full Life Cycle support of On-Premised hosted Systems/Applications.

　　Review, evaluate, and fine-tunes system performance for Mission Systems/Applications.

　　Monitor the environment to ensure they meet customer requirements.

　　Coordinate problem resolution with customers, teammates, and vendors.

　　Evaluate new and existing system software/hardware and recommends changes.

　　Provide management with status of project

　　Job Requirements

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

　　3+ years experience as a Linux/UNIX Systems Engineer

　　1+ year experience coordinating projects with DISA

　　Strong knowledge in Networks and Windows systems

　　Experience managing complex technical projects

　　DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance

　　CompTIA Security + certification

　　Experience with Ansible

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
