This opening is for our night shift crew. 12-hour shift. 2 on, 2 off, 3on, schedule.
Pay Range, based on experience- \$22.74-\$25.28

The position is responsible for set up, operation and maintenance ofvarious lining machines to ensure the continual and efficient running ofproduction. The Lining Technician will troubleshoot quality and productissues, perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance, takemeasurements and record integrity of products produced, and performdaily safety and quality checks. The Lining Technician also monitors boxfill and label application and reports or addresses problemsimmediately.

C. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:
Resets vision systems at start of shift. Verifies all material for eachline matches Production Schedule. Uses a variety of tools and techniquesto take measurements on sample closures and record data into computersystem. Performs visual quality checks on closures throughout the shift.Performsring liner vacuum checks, vision checks, and checks mold cycletimes to ensure quality product. Monitors control panels and listens toequipment operations to detect jams or malfunctions. Adjusts machinesettings when necessary. Makes mechanical adjustments and repairs toequipment. Cleans compound filters. Empties vision barrels. Fillscompound barrels. Collects scrap caps and prepares for Re-grind. Usesair tools and alcohol to clean lines. Reports daily performance/issuesin log books and communicate with oncoming technician any changes,problems or issues with the line(s). Cleans at least one punch and onecutter per day per line. Cleans, sweeps, and mops work area as needed.Follows all safety procedures and completes daily safety check list.Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafeconditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Complies with GoodManufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and HACCP Pre-requisitePrograms related to activities performed for this position.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Six months to twoyears related experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Skills and Abilities
Mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability required. Must be ableto disassemble and re-assemble precision tooling.
